Bassix is a dynamic 3 -5 piece group, consisting of three main members, playing 100% original songs written by Miss Jodie. 

Story telling, Rhythm Guitar and Vocals by Jodie, who is backed superbly by Julian Smith on Upright Bass and Josh Rust providing tasty licks and instrumental flavours on a variety of guitars.
Matt Elliott or Micheal De Cecco join them to keep the groove on Drumkit and occasionally Horns or Harmonica are added to the Bluesy Feel. 

Bassix has been described as "Soulful Pop Folk that's had a Wild night on the Blues".  

Jodie's voice has been likened to the raw sounds of Janis Joplin and her stage presence captivating. 

With over twenty years of playing together in various formats, the musical connection between these professional musicians is undeniably magical. 

Bassix is available as a Duo or a full Band, so are suited to any occasion and audience, with lyrics we can all relate to.

Bassix can provide their own PA, Lights and Engineering when needed.
