Miss Jodie, more formally known as Jodie Digney, has great passion for live music! If she is not on stage, she is in the audience! She has been performing live since she was about 8 years old, and currently plays and sings in several bands based in the Northern Rivers, on the East Coast of NSW. Each band portrays a different style of Blues. ‘The Hoochers’ Funky Blues, ‘The BlueSkillet Rovers’ jug band, yip yah blues, and ‘Bassix’ soulful, folk, pop which has had a wild night on the Blues.
Jodie also performs with ‘Jimmy Willing and the Real Gone Hick-ups’ Country Punk Blues, ‘Julian James and the Moonshine State’ Americana Hill Country Blues, ‘Black Train’ American Folk & Gospel and ‘Ulysses Bow’ Country Folk lead by Mick Daley of The Remains. She has also played with ‘Two Tears in a Bucket’ Appalachian swamp punk Blues, and has just recently reformed side project "Kiss My Boots" with Michelle Fitness.
Occasionally you will catch Miss Jodie flying SOLO and she has even featured in a couple of Burlesque Style shows.
Her passion for Blues also shines through in her teaching career, where she runs a school Blues band called "D-tension" who play for local community events.
